The Black Caucus of the American Library Association (BCALA), www.bcala.org, invites exhibitors, publishers, vendors, educational and not-for-profit organizations, and businesses to join the 12th National Conference of African American Librarians (NCAAL), July 24 – July 27, 2024, at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our Conference theme is Culture Keepers XII: Unity in Diversity – Stronger Together in the African Diaspora.
For over 50 years, BCALA has been an integral part of the American Library Association as an affiliate and the librarian profession as a whole. The organization serves as an advocate for the development, promotion, and improvement of library services and resources to the nation’s African-American community. It also provides leadership for the recruitment and professional development of African-American librarians. The NCAALXII offers participating exhibitors & organizations unique on-site and virtual promotional marketing opportunities that will provide major visibility throughout the conference and include program sponsorships and event partnerships. We are expecting 40 exhibitors and 500+ attendees representing public, academic, school, and special libraries.
Your participation is pivotal to our success, and your sponsorship would support BCALA’s continuing programs, mentorship, scholarships, and forums.
We are including in this letter an advertising form, sponsorship program form, and 2024 conference highlights. Please help us continue the BCALA legacy and build the foundation for the hard work we have ahead of us as we face the challenges of the future. We hope you will show your support by participating as an exhibitor or contributor. We are happy to answer any questions.
